Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary -Day 1 to Day 10

 

Day1: Getting to know Kathmandu

Our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and take you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day lounging and exploring Kathmandu’s colorful streets.

Day 2: Touring Kathmandu

We’ll start our guided tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites today, which include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). These well-known sites shed light on Nepal’s rich religious and cultural legacy.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara  

We’ll travel to Pokhara, a charming city known for its serene lakes and breathtaking mountain views, after breakfast. Views of picturesque scenery and rural life can be seen along the way. After arriving in Pokhara, you can spend the remainder of the day lounging by Phewa Lake or exploring the surrounding area.


Day 4: Trek from Deurali to Kande from Pokhara


We take a picturesque drive to Kande, where we begin our trek’s ascent towards Deurali. The trail offers expansive views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peaks as it winds through charming Gurung villages and rhododendron forests. We’ll enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains while spending the night at Deurali.

Day 5: Forest Camp via Deurali

We resume our journey today toward Forest Camp via verdant forests and winding paths. We might come across a variety of native plant and animal species along the route. The scenery changes dramatically as we ascend, providing us with breath-taking vistas of the neighboring peaks and valleys.

Day6: Low Camp to Forest Camp

We climb higher and closer to Low Camp, where the trees get sparser and the ground gets rougher. When we arrive at Low Camp, we’ll spend the night in the peace and quiet of the Himalayan wilderness.

Day 7: From Low to High Camp

Along the way, keep an eye out for elusive species like musk deer and Himalayan thr. As we get ready for our last push to Mardi Himal Base Camp, we’ll spend the night at High Camp.

Day 8: Mardi Himal Base Camp to High Camp and Back to High Camp


The trek’s high point will be reached today when we reach Mardi Himal Base Camp, which is about 4,500 meters above sea level. Azure skies and surrounding peaks, such as Machhapuchhre and Mardi Himal, provide breathtaking views from the trail.

Day 9: From Siding Village to High Camp


We will descend from High Camp and hike through forested areas and quaint villages to arrive at Siding Village. We’ll see traditional Nepalese settlements and terraced fields along the route, giving us a glimpse into the way of life there. We’ll stay the night in Siding Village, where we can fully experience the friendliness of the people of Nepal.

Day 10: Drive from Siding Village to Lumre and Pokhara


On the last day of our trek, we will make a gentle descent to Lumre, from where we will return to Pokhara by vehicle. The trip gives a final look at the magnificent Himalayas before saying goodbye to the mountains. After arriving in Pokhara, you’ll have the evening to yourself to unwind and commemorate the end of our journey.
